Soap and Stain Removal Soap and stain build up can be removed from chrome and plastic fixtures if they are clean with a mixture of 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 tablespoon of destilled vinegar. Bathtub film can be removed by wiping with vinegar and then with soda, rinse with clean water. Kill germs on bathroom fixtures by spraying one part vinegar to one part water, mix contents in a spray bottle spary bathroom fixtures and floors they wipe clean.
