What Do You Know About White Vinegar

Well let me tell you that its one of the most powerful cleaning tools in your cleaning arsenal, yes white vinegar can be used in many ways not just in your salad.

You can used it as a carpet spotter damp a white towel with the vinegar and blot spot when spot is removed rinse thoroughly with clear water.

You can also used it in your car, laundry, in the kitchen in the bathroom etc. We will post a cleaning tip in our newsletter and here so stay tuned. For cars it can be used to polish chrome and clean rust from tools, bolts and spigots. Soak the rusted tools in undiluted vinegar overnight.

Keep car windows frost free coat the windows the night before with a solution of three parts vinegar to one part water.

How To Removed Wax From Your Carpet.

Yes, candle wax can be removed from your carpet is not an easy task and it might take some time and patience.

First make sure to scrape as much wax as possible from the carpet with a spoon or a carpet bone scraper, vacuum thoroughly you might try putting some ice cube in the wax to harden it and make it easier to removed excess. Now to get the rest of the wax out of the carpet cover the wax with a clean brown paper bag and place a clothes iron on it, set tempeture low this will melt the wax and it will transfer to paper. If still you notice some residue repeat step with a clean brown paper bag.

Remember some colored waxes will dye the carpet and will need professional spotting techniques.

After removing wax from the carpet rinse the area with clean water. Blot up the excess water, and dry the area quickly. A fan can help with this or a hair blower. Quick drying prevents any of the dye stains deeper down from wicking up of the surface.
